This is maybe a long story, but to me all of the videos have something to learn from and they have built my confidence and my mental and also my motivation. I have 2 amazing 3yos, and I have been so excited about their futurity year. We were thinking about taking them to the Juvenile which is 36 hours drive for us BUT life decided different. I got a diagnosis of breast cancer... so plans had to change.

So what BTR does for me is to have the strength to keep going. Futurity year starts only in May 2025 here, and my goal is to be able to make it. Everyday I am on the treadmill and working out to keep myself as fit as I can be watching as many videos that I can from BTR. It keeps me from finding a reason to not work out and be ready. We bought an exerciser to keep the horses somehow fit while I’m healing and going through chemo.

Thank you for you girls' generosity. 3 days after my surgery I was on the monthly Zoom call. Of course I don’t talk, but I listened every bit of it! Not sure if it was the right place to write this but your videos, posts, calls are making it easier on me. Thanks again!

I have been a BTR member since it started. I have always been someone that tried to find videos online, constantly looking for information to help me. I had a “trainer” but I would constantly get frustrated because I didn’t understand what she wanted me to do and she would get frustrated with me for not doing what she asked.

I eventually bought a 3 year old that had no training but was saddle broke. I spent the next year working on basics and also spent some time recovering from bad accidents. I can’t remember how long into training him that BTR started, but I immediately knew I wanted to learn from these three. You hear all the time that you can’t teach “feel”, (and most would probably say definitely not through a video) but I can say with 120% confidence that you guys have taught me how to “feel” more than I ever thought I could! Your rides are extremely detailed and show SOOOOOO many different approaches to problems! I feel so sure that I can work through ANY problem that shows up in my rides!

My horse is now 9 years old and competing in the 1D!!! I never thought I would have a “WINNER” because I can’t afford the fancy bred horses, but I know now that I can make one something worth looking at!

Needless to say BTR has changed my life! I am so confident in myself and know I am surrounding by so many supportive, successful, horsemen!❤️❤️❤️

I have been a member for about a year now and I absolutely love this platform and the new app is so easy to navigate. Customer service is exceptional. These lady’s are honest and raw individuals and are phenomenal at explaining their content, working through problems the occur, and reassuring you through the videos to give yourself grace. Especially for someone new to the barrel racing community. Definitely recommend!!

I bred and trained my 4 yo filly, “Hayday Mayday" myself. Throughout the training process, it was so nice to follow along with BTR. The videos gave me confidence that I was on track and taught me several new techniques. She’s already running in the 1D at big shows and I’m very excited about our future! Thanks BTR!

I have always had a hard time not getting anxious before my runs and it led to some starting issues with my gelding. I signed up for BTR and started popping my headphones in and listening to them before races, I think the most helpful thing for me is realizing even the best trainers make mistakes and we all need a little support now and again. Before my last run I happened to be listening to Joy talking about getting nervous in the alley. She said she would say the word breathe, spell it, say it and remind herself to breathe and that’s what I did in my warm up, I felt like I finally tuned in and just let my horse work and it felt awesome! So thankful for the BTR girls and all their beyond priceless knowledge.

I wanted to tell Joy, Jolene, and Ashley how much I enjoy the weekly videos. I pick up something on every video it seems. It may be a big “AHA” 🤦‍♀️ moment or a little thing that’s very important. Some are new to me, some a different way of looking at something I’ve been doing for years. It’s all so valuable!

I cannot thank you ladies enough for all the great information. I’ve been really struggling with some issues on a young horse and how to work through some problems caused by rider error. 😱. My horse was stepping into the second and third barrel and I could not figure out why. After watching a bajillion videos I decided on a game plan and it worked! After watching Ashley using one hand (and the amazing finesse and technique she has) I started doing this. I was making life way too hard for myself and my horse. Yipeeee!
